Philip GUYA. 2017-2021

Philip Guya is currently Kenya’s top bodybuilder. He’s a high performance athlete, but did not start that way. His story has been that of consistency and persistence. His transformation has been nothing short of incredible and looking back the sequencing of these images taken over the years is quite fitting. His early days of hard work and training, the brutal and sometimes bloody transformation, and the ‘sweet’ victory. The sweet point images taken four years prior to his win in 2025 seem to have been a silent but sure prediction of the victory to come.
